Welcome to WARP DRIVE STUDIOS online home. Here you will find various information on our service and tips on preparing yourself for the recording process.

Located in beautiful Bracken County, Kentucky, Warp Drive is a Digital Recording Facility. We feature a 18x14 feet tracking room, a 14x9 feet control room, and a 7x5 feet Vocal/Voice Over booth.Our equipment list includes Akai, Alesis, Line Six, Shure, and more. We have available for use a great set of Pearl drums mic'ed up and ready to go. For the keyboardist we have a wonderful Kurzweil PC88.

Warp Drive Studios is home of "No Clock Watch Recording". What we mean by that is we do not record by an hourly rate. Instead we use a "per song" rate of $ 30.00 per song with mixing/mastering included. We feel this way the artist can concentrate on their music and not their bankroll. Regardless if a songs takes one hour to record or five, the $ 30.00 per song applies. But it should be noted that the longer it takes to record, the longer it takes to compleat a project, so it is to the artist best advantage to be well rehearsed before coming into the studio.
We also offer several CD packages from demo to retail. All at affordable prices!

Warp Drive Studios also has a list of great professional musicians for hire to work on your sessions if you do not have a band.

Warp Drive studios is about 45 minutes east of Cincinnati, Ohio and a little over 1 hour north of Lexington, KY.

 

 

Eddie Groves: Owner/Engineer

Warp Drive Studios owner/engineer is a seasoned musician & songwriter with years of recording experience under his belt. Eddie holds a degree in Radio & Television Broadcasting from Lexington, Kentucky's Fugazzi College.

 Eddie also holds a Diploma from The Audio Institute of America's Recording Engineer Program. As a musican Eddie has toured not only in the USA, but also overseas to Korea, Italy, Guam, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other countries. 

 Eddie has also performed shows with many great top artists including Charlie Daniels, The Kentucky Headhunters, Alan Jackson, George Jones,Merle Haggard, Montgomery Gentry, Doug Stone, and many more!
